Staff were really friendly and helpful. Beautiful setting.

Although the room was ok the hotel overall was very dated! The restaurant was separately run from the hotel and the pool area while nicely located on the side of the lake was in need to maintenance and modernisation… I was very surprised that the hotels.com rating for this hotel was so high… at best this is a 3-star hotel… The staff were perfectly friendly and helpful, but there were not enough of them. You had to find the restaurant staff if you wanted a drink while sat by the pool area. We did eat in the restaurant on one night and although the food was good, it was expensive.. If you are used to a good standard of hotel on holiday, I would not recommend this one.

We travel a lot but we have never seen such a nice staff anywhere. Shayan is a sweetheart and extremely nice and helpful. My son was sick and one of staff went out of her way to make kitchen make a soup for him. You don’t see these kind of stuff often. Thank you to all the staff.!

Very clean room, very courteous staff but very noisy outside every morning with dumpsters

This hotel is located about 10 minutes away from Old Town Zurich. We took an uber to get here from Zurich HB. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite facing the pool. The pool was having a huge promoted white party, so the bass and DJ were vibrating the room. However, the music was done at 8pm and we didn't hear anything else after that. The king bed was very comfortable. My son used the couch pull out, which we had to call down 2 times for them to bring up bedding because there was no bedding for it and we had to set it all up. The pool area was nice and we used it twice. My son and I tried the buffet breakfast and was highly disappointed for what I paid (80 swiss franks = $100 usd) for cold, mediocre food. I couldn't believe the price, but I had to feed my 9 year old. After that, we just uber eats or did not eat at the hotel because I was not paying that price daily. You definitely paid for what you pay for here.

Most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed.

Old resort. Fairly well maintained but needed updating. If your looking for that old World charm this is the place. Seemed like the staff was short handed. No real chef presence. Three man team running food to rooms cleaning and running front desk. For a fully booked hotel this seemed odd. There was a dinner advertised as buffet but it was not available on night we stayed. Friday and Saturday? Was the head chef on vacation? Very odd. Also we ordered room service two nights due to nothing really being available past 8 pm in the area to eat. Quality of the food was okay. Not what I would expect from a “Resort”. On the second night it took 1.5 hours for our food to be delivered to our room. We ordered a pizza, a ham and egg/ cheese sandwich, and a soup. The pizzas were advertised as a chicken pizza yet the pizza had slices of ham on top with no chicken whatsoever. ( bad advertising / meal ruining to this that do r eat pork). Pizza Cost was $ 23 franc which was pretty absurd considering the size.( it was a measly four slices). The staff was very nice and polite And seemed like They were Trying their Hardest but it was Obvious that labor and food cost cuts had led them to be forced to present in the manor that they did. Not going back. This place had beautiful views but wants worth the $499 night stay in Francs. Ira has so much potential but just needs the right leadership / management to get it back on track .

Breakfast was great although menu stays the same.
