Enjoyable stay, comfortable room

It was really nice experience

I traveled with my wife and 13-year-old daughter to Budapest in the summer of 2025. The Harmonia Palace is on the periphery of Budapest’s city center. The reasons I chose the Harmonia Palace are: - Each unit is spacious. There were three of us, and I wanted us to be comfortable and have our own space. There is a small kitchenette and a table with four seats for dining. We stayed in the Jade Heritage suite, which had two enormous windows that let in plenty of natural light. - The building used to be a duke’s mansion. They preserved the classic design but renovated it luxuriously. I really liked the interior design. Location-wise, it’s not in the very center, but it’s conveniently close to the Hungarian National Museum and Central Market Hall. One big advantage of its location is that it’s only a 3-minute walk from the airport shuttle stop. I find rideshares and taxis in some parts of Europe a bit shady, so I always try to use the airport shuttle when available. Harmonia Palace is just one stop away from the airport if you take the 100E bus, which also runs throughout the night. The reasons I did not give Harmonia Palace five stars are: - We arrived in Budapest after 9:30 pm. Their check-in hours are 9 am - 9:30 pm, so we had to pay €40 for late check-in. I’ve never had to pay for late check-in. Since the building used to be a mansion, the entrance is a gigantic double door that opens to an interior courtyard, where noise easily echoes. - It’s not in the very center

Room clean and comfy bed. Really quiet room with no hotel noise. Shower drain was slow and had to keep stopping the water to prevent flood, so not ideal. Breakfast was ok but no option for vegetarian suasages, margarine etc which is a shame as oat milk was available! Location worked well for us.

What an experience from start to finish… My stay at Hotel Al-Habtoor in Budapest was nothing short of exceptional, and I can confidently say it exceeded every expectation. From housekeeping to concierge to restaurant staff, everyone was attentive, courteous, and highly professional. It’s clear that hospitality is taken very seriously here, and the team works together seamlessly to provide a five-star experience. The spa and wellness facilities were absolutely superb. The atmosphere was calm and luxurious, the facilities were spotless, and the treatments were deeply relaxing. It was the perfect place to unwind after exploring the city, and it added a real sense of indulgence to the stay. As for the food, it was outstanding. Every meal was beautifully presented and full of flavor, with high-quality ingredients and a great variety of options. Breakfast was especially impressive, offering both local and international selections to suit all tastes. Dining at the hotel felt like a culinary experience in itself. Overall, Hotel Al-Habtoor combines elegance, comfort, and exceptional service in a way that truly sets it apart…

Fabulous hotel in fantastic central location. Easy to walk to main attractions eg Houses of Parliament and along the river. Room was very clean with comfortable beds and lovely interiors. Certainly a very high standard. Would highly recommend for a city break exploring this beautiful city.

I stayed at Maverick Apartments for three days, and honestly, I wish I could’ve stayed longer. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, and the location was just perfect. Close enough to everything I needed, but still peaceful enough to truly relax. Every little detail, from the cozy bedding to the spotless kitchen, showed how much care goes into this place. It’s rare to find somewhere that feels both luxurious and homely, but Maverick Apartments nailed it. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Good location difficult to find and access very noisy no ac hot if you opened the window the noise was overwhelming. The bed was more like a cot than a bed very uncomfortable
