The staff is super friendly and the hotel is really clean. It may be a little pricey for some, but the experience is worth it. The hotel is conveniently located for sightseeing attractions, museums, shopping and it's about 20 minutes from the airport. Access to Public transportation hub is 5 minutes walk from the Towers and the major Mall is15 minutes by tram from the Towers. Liseberg Amusement Park is across from the hotel. You have to visit Universeum (less than 10 minutes walk from the Towers) to especially see you the 3D shows. I knew to expect issues, as when I called to confirm our massages, I was advised they were never booked into the system and there was no appointments left that day. No apologies - that's just the way things are. We arrived early and were told we needed to wait until 3pm to checkin- no issues - but it was obvious we were seniors. We were then told, our room was on the 3rd floor and we needed to walk and carry our luggage there. Why - there were vacant rooms on the other side of the hotel where the elevator was working. I found the check-in person would not reason with me - ie your room is over there. It's too bad, this person was on the front desk and left this impression. (697 reviews) Our communication was primarily via WhatsApp. The Pocket Room was comfortable and included a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a water bottle (for use while there; not to keep). This problem Bob W couldn't control: the first room I was assigned was noisy because of the construction next door. They moved me to a quiet one on another floor. The thing to be aware of is that the hotel is fully automated. Online check-in to receive the front door entrance code and find out what room you're staying in. I used the WhatsApp-provided website to access my room each time. There is a 'slider' at the bottom of this page. To access the room, slide the bar to the right. Within a few seconds, the door's button turns green, the door clicks, and you open the door.
