9/10 Wonderful! (747 reviews)
The front desk staff wasn't friendly. Slightly rude. Location not in good proximity to local points of interest. Required taxi transportation everywhere averaging 7$ to $20 per person every time you move from location to the next. Prices changed based on what they felt like charging or destination. There were chickens, dogs and cats roaming freely on the property. A cat literally walking around the restaurant like a customer underneath feet while we ate. Not much entertainment on the property. Pool super small. The room it's was comfortable and fairly clean. Balcony view was poor.

We stayed here for 6 days, and honestly, for how expensive this resort was, I cannot believe how poorly we were treated by the majority of the staff. About 90% of our interactions left us feeling like we were inconveniencing them simply by asking a question, purchasing water, or requesting assistance.
Our room stayed at 74 degrees for our entire stay, and the air conditioning barely worked. For the price we paid, that was completely unacceptable.
Another thing to be aware of is that the food options close extremely early, around 6 PM, so if you’re someone who likes to eat later in the evening, you’ll likely need to leave the resort to find food.
There was also very poor communication regarding charges. Every time we ordered food or drinks, we handed over our card expecting to pay at the time of purchase. Instead, the charges were repeatedly put on our room without anyone explaining that they weren’t actually charging the card. We had no idea what was being charged to our room until checkout.
Overall, I did enjoy my vacation and appreciated the beautiful surroundings, but I would never stay at this resort again. The prices are extremely high, and when you’re spending that much money on a vacation, you expect to be treated with kindness and basic courtesy.
A huge part of a relaxing vacation is the experience created by the staff, and unfortunately, that was one of the biggest disappointments of our stay. Beautiful resort, but the service and o

9.8/10 Exceptional! (184 reviews)
Excellent place to stay on Saint Thomas. The owners are very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. Clean and spacious rooms a short walk from downtown Charlotte Amalie. This is a small, locally owned "hotel" that has an intimate, relaxed vibe. Easy access and parking.
