Central Sweden Ski Holidays

This was the perfect spot to spend a few nights in Stockholm. It's in the middle of Gamla Stan and we had a few minutes walk to whereever we wanted to go. A couple caveats--we used a taxi and it was about a 5 minute walk over cobblestones to get to the apartment since there's no cars allowed. There's also 3 big steps to get into the building. If you are ok with that, you can't go wrong. You are staying in a home built in the 1300's in the best area to stay in Gamla Stan. It's very safe and the bed was comfortable.

Great stay and clean, breakfast buffet was ok

The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet which is included with your stay was one of the best I've had on my travels.

Clean and modern room, good rate and next to a railway line for easy transportation aswell as near multiple attractions

Extremely professional and attentive staff. Amenities and location are also great.

Room was too small and bathroom was worse despite paying up for a corner room with a view. I couldn’t soap up in the shower without turning the water off. No room to step out of the way.

At the time we stayed, this place was an outstanding value for a studio apartment with small kitchen in Stockholm. The building was basic and a bit older, but still functional and clean, with no problems. The clothes washer/dryer worked well. The only issue for tourists was that the location is a bit outside the usual tourist orbit, and too far to comfortably walk. Public transit is easy to use in Stockholm, and a tram stop with frequent service sits 200 meters away from the Aparthotel, but it takes at least 20 minutes to reach the city center and costs 43 SKR (about US$4.50) per person per ride unless you purchase a transit pass. We sometimes skipped going out in the evening due to the time and expense, and thus missed a bit of the city's atmosphere.
