You always dream of a place like this! This was by far our best vacation! This island set the bar so high that we feel no other vacations will live up to it. The staff was amazing and the food was wonderful! Drinking kava every evening with the crew and sharing stories was magical. The owners gave us a personalized tour of Labasa and meeting the people was amazing. If you enjoy scuba, diving and or snorkeling, every place we went was amazing. A big thank you to all!

This resort is a must if you travel to Fiji. We visited 2 years ago and knew we wanted to return. The staff is our Fiji family. Each individual cottage is so well built and maintained. Manassas and his wife Wati are the original builders and both still stay active at the resort. I encourage travelers to not just stay on the main island, but discover the surrounding islands.

The room I was allocated had a very bad damp smell. The housekeeper who was in the hallway immediately offered me another room and sorted it out with reception. This was great service. Sadly the rooms have not been well maintained and the cleaning is not as good as it should be. A previous guest had left an adhesive label on the bedside cabinet and also black oily finger prints on the furniture, and this hadn’t been cleaned. Also the privacy curtains were missing from the windows which made the room visible from the footpath and marina. Needs to be better for these prices. Suggest there housekeeping management inspect rooms after cleaning.

The ‘all inclusive’ isn’t just that. Cocktails, barista coffee and restaurants are not included. Apparently only if you book with my Fiji you receive cocktail vouchers amongst other benefits. The food was average at the buffet and lacked variety. Although the set menu at the Chinese restaurant was included, it was the worst Chinese food I’ve eaten, plus other tables who ordered after our receiving their food first. Cocktails average and some staff didn’t know how to make them. We also found out , after the fact, all kids under 12 eat free so there was no need to purchase an all inclusive package for our child. Resort staff polite and friendly. And thankfully nothing stolen this Fiji trip. We felt safe. However, alot of miss communication around the restaurant, for example, reception informing us of a traditional dance one evening at 0730pm, where as it was actually 0830pm. This was a common occurrence, the incorrect information being told to us. Resort room clean and comfortable. Location was central to everything in resort. Room services daily, but little things frequently forgotten to be replaced, including toilet paper, coffee, fresh towels and fresh coffee mugs. No bottle water provided. Air conditioning also flooded our room and engineering had to attend to it. Swim up bar the slowest service in the world, averaging 20 minutes to be served and not even busy. Don’t be fooled by the resorts photos online, there is no swimable beach at the resort. The beach is rocks

We were not aware of the extreme extra costs when we booked and that happened several times while in Fiji, speaking to other travelers they said the same. We spent nearly $700 USD for our 4 day stay and when we arrived so many extra charges at 11pm charges in American came to $900 USD. It was a nice stay the beach wasn’t really clear or to swimmable and really that’s all you want when you travel halfway around the world. Everything else was nice. Just BEWARE of half of dozen extra costs when you arrive.

Reception staff were horrible. Not inviting at all. They barely spoke to us. They were uninterested in us. They could care less
