South Glasgow Scuba Diving Holidays

What I liked: Very friendly and helpful staff, the free laundry room, huge breakfast (but pricey). What I did not care for: too dark rooms with limited lighting, making it hard to see inside luggage, too dark halls, warm but not hot shower water, non-user friendly thermostat with no handy instructions, half-hearted toilet flushing, tricky TV streaming connections, not easy to use the stairs if one prefers to skip the very slow (1) elevator.

What a great place to stay. We enjoyed the apartment, clean and well maintained. The check in was easy and the location was very convenient for us. We also we grateful for the parking.

Probably my favourite hotel in Glasgow. Friendly staff. Great drinks. Double height ceilings and period details give it a real lux feel. The rooms are on the right side of shabby chic but extremely comfortable. Great place to explore the West End from.

We had a good stay at The Address hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and in a very convenient location. The reasoning for the four stars is because we had just finished our road trip from Isle of Mull and still had our car hire for one more evening. There is no safe drop off zone to unload your bags without the risk of getting ticketed. On top of that, you do have to pay to park offsite but they do provide a discount code if you ask for it. Parking off site wasn’t a far walk, but just be careful unloading your bags as we were parked for 2 minutes and were about to get a ticket. Would stay again but would recommend the hotel invest in a private limited drop off zone.

Pool is excellent for actual swimming. Breakfast included a full range of options. Room was reasonably spacious with comfy beds. Only niggle was the shower was a bit weak, but I used the one at the pool both days anyway

Friendly and competent staff. Beautiful and well appointed room. Free breakfast was high quality with many options. Attached wellness center is very good. Royal Troon golf club is a short par 3 away

Incredible opulence. Views overlooking golf course and a light house on the ocean. Outstanding spa. Breakfast is very good with a variety of choices. 9 hole pitch and putt course for guests.

Great hotel and staff. Will stay again if in the area.

This unit may not be the greatest location for everyone - but it was perfect for us because it is literally across the street from the Mitchell Library in Glasgow. We were there to do some family history research and this was the perfect location - less than a minute's walk from our building to the Mitchell. Can't get better than that. So, if you are going to Glasgow for family or academic research at the Mitchell, this is the place to stay. There is a Tesco express supermarket downstairs, with a cash machine installed. There is a good pub a couple of doors away (The Bon Accord) and the Mitchell itself has a reasonable café. There are other cafes a few minutes walk away also. You will be well catered for. The only drawback is that a freeway runs right past the front windows of the apartment. However, the soundproofing is very good, as long as the windows are closed. You can't hear the road noise at night in the bedroom, which is good. As the windows need to stay closed, the apartment can get warm over time. This can be alleviated somewhat by opening the window in the bedroom. If you open the front windows, the place is filled with road noise. A split system air-conditioner would do wonders really. We stayed in August and as the temperatures were cool, the interior unit temp wasn't really a problem as we could regulate it without too much road noise intrusion. Summer time may be a different story. Overall we had a great stay and recommend this place to others.
