Staying at Ballyvolane was like being in an Irish historical novel. It was amazing in every aspect: food, bed comfort, and especially the staff. They made us feel so welcome. We would recommend Ballyvolane to anyone who wants a peaceful stay in a beautiful manor house!

The staff at the hotel was super helpful and friendly. Rooms were comfortable and had just the right amount of space. Also the rooms are outfitted with a great coffee machine and free water. May sound strange, but the shower in the room is amazing - something that is a wonderful luxury after sight seeing all day.

The hotel is nicely located as you can walk to most of the attractions from there. We really loved the River Lee view from the room.
We did not take part in the breakfast but we did have dinner in the lounge at night and the food was delicious.
