Nice stay. Staff were lovely. Nice hotel. Quite expensive given amenities.

The property is older and the pictures online do not properly show what the property looks like today. No air conditioning.

Greeted by the very energetic hotel manager, even though he was busy checking in other guest and looking after the lodges as well, you cannot fault him and his enthusiasm. Lovely boutique room, lacking air conditioning, after all it is Scotland. Lovely lake view and well maintained grounds and gardens. Lovely breakfast and attentive staff. Generally well maintained hotel but creaking floorboards can be disruptive later at night and noise may echo a little.

only complaints were water pressure was poor in the shower and it took a long time to get hot, but the room was clean comfortable and very nice. Breakfast was great Other minor complaint was it was about a 10 minute walk into town. Overall I would go back in a heartbeat

Lovely property, easy to find and beautiful views. The owner was always available when needed th3 place was perfect for kids to run around and swim depending on the weather.

This is NOT a good stay! And the service even worse. Clearly at one point this was a vibrant bustling hub, when we stayey it was an absolute Ghost town. I was emailed to check in online, a bumpy process to say the leaset. After wasting 20 minutes on it I was told just to check in at the hotel. I saw 2 staff members for the duration of the stay, one told me to pay fo parking, the other told me it was free. I didnt take the chance and paid the overpriced parking, despite the underground parking looking like a scene from COD. The corridore on the way to the room had torn wall canvasses. The room itself had dirty carpets, cracked tiles in the bathroom, sticky handprints on the remote and the tv, brackets hanging where soap dispensers used to live once upon a time, one bed with a broken leg and another with missing slats and 2 sweets belonging to the previous occupent on the floor. I didnt use the restaurant so cant comment. I did offer the hotel the opportunity to address my issues, they responded with This ticket has been closed. Take from that what you will but after 3 weeks and 2 reminders I havent heard a peep. Aberdeen has far better to offer than this place!

When we arrived at the hotel, there were no rooms even though we had a confirmation from Expedia. I’m currently working to have the fees refunded.
