We stayed at the Harbour Hotel for four nights and, having paid alot of money for our stay, I felt the overall value for money was disappointing. In particular, I was surprised that we had to pay extra for parking. At this price level, I would have expected parking to be included for hotel guests. I was also disappointed to discover that certain items ordered at breakfast attracted an additional charge. Again, considering the amount we had already paid and that breakfast was included in our rate, I would have expected a full breakfast offering to be covered without additional charges. Overall, the stay was extremely expensive, and these extra charges left us feeling that the hotel did not offer the level of value we would expect for what we paid.

Lovely old building with Latin Quarter literally on the doorstep. We had some reservations about noise and room size, having checked the usual review sites. But our room (overlooking Cross Street) had secondary glazing so the complimentary earplugs were not needed. The room was compact, but absolutely fine (my husband is 6'3" and he had no complaints), and was equipped with everything needed. It was thoughtfully laid out, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and attractively decorated. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast buffet was varied and more than sufficient to fuel us up for the day. There was a dear little book on each breakfast table, with a history of the building, which was a lovely touch. A few more plug sockets would be useful, but I guess our medieval ancestors didn't have so many devices to charge :) Would not hesitate to stay again.

The resort was absolutely stunning but the best part was the staff. They were all welcoming and helpful, we had the best time!
