Gem in Cape Town will definitely stay again - extremely helpfull staff and amazing hospitality

This is one of the most beautiful farms if you just want simple indulgence. The food is beautiful and the grounds just delight. I loved walking through. Delicious breakfast and a lovely, cosy room where we lit the fire every night and enjoyed the underfloor heating. Pricey, but will definitely return.

The hotel room was beautiful bed was really comfortable. It was stylish and I could not fold it. It was a great breakfast and the staff at the front River very hospitable very friendly. It was just a short walk down to the city centre and an easy drive to get to the wineries and parking was no issue. Highly recommended to anyone going there.

One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at, great views, amenities and food options. The staff were so friendly and made it a great few days for our family.

Classy and luxurious stay with impeccable service in a luxuryboreity.

Dont expect this to have hotel service i.e daily cleaning, and clean linen. Bathroom fan was making noise. Several flies in living rooms and bedroom. Bedroom linen was not clean. Duvets were thin (cold during winter). Apartment was cold throughout. We spent 1 of out 6 nights and checked out on day 2.

All of the staff was kind and help full. The restarunt staff was kind and helpful. At check out, we had an issue using the cards. Later, this evening when trying to sort out the issue, the mobile Banking found out that Debit cards we used cannot be used to make payments oitside Canada. On the previous day, the Credit card was declined at a Restaruant. Therefore, we didn't wanti risk it because to was declined at the Resaurent in the previous evening.. So we paid by cash as follows: Paid US $50 & R50 to pay the bill; R880. That is US $50 is equvelant R976+50=R1026. Then to pay R880; we paid; R (976+50=1026.) so we are informing.
