Oh my! The Villa Carlton was the best hotel! A quaint and fabulously decorated small hotel. The room and bathroom are very nice. Excellent bedding and towels. They offer a continental breakfast of fresh bread with coffee and tea. My husband is Gluten free and they made the effort to get him some GF bread. A short walk from the train station and a block from Mirabell Gardens. This hotel is a must.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in and it is Ulrich who made the visit so memorable. Right from the moment you walk in you feel welcomed and that your comfort matters. She truly cares about her guests and goes out of the way to help if needed. The rooms are bright, colorful and spacious. Location is very convenient . In every area, our stay exceeded our expectations. Definitely get the romantic dinner for two: most exquisite meal we've ever had. Each course was phenomenal. Spa facilities were world class with fantastic view of Alps. Skip the outdoor pool; it was freezing cold. Bed and bedding was very comfortable. After working 20 years in surgery, I have very high standards for cleanliness: A here. Highly recommend.

The hotel is wonderful overall; however, some rooms—specifically the one I stayed in, room 402—have a very low ceiling next to the bed. This poses a safety concern, as there is a high risk of hitting one’s head when getting up. Additionally, the shower is particularly cramped and uncomfortable.

So many good things to say about this property. They hit everything you could want in a hotel and more (including a decent breakfast buffet). Even when I was trying to make my way to a nearby boat for a trip, the staff not only knew where I needed to go, but actually walked with me outside and down the street to show me where it was (said it was a super nice day, let's walk). 100% would come back!

The hotel was close to a supermarket, which was very convenient during our stay. Bus stops close by as well.

The staff are very friendly and helpful at the Flockner B&B. Thomas, the front desk clerk gave us our free bus passes to use hopping ar3Salzburg. He also helped us move to a ground floor room from the secod floor walk-up unit. The daily free breakfast buffet was an excellent way to start the day, a meeting spot for my whole fauly, some of them were staying at nearby NUMA, that fid not have a front desk. They had an emergency with a luggage locker not opening & it took a while through a chat bot to get a human to come unlock it. NUMA made them get towels & supplies in the basement and charges extra for cleaning more than once a week. My advice - STAY AT FLOCKNER B & B AND BE TREATED LIKE A VALUED GUEST!
