This jewell in the middle of the hectic Bellavista neighborhood is absolutely amazing. Seated in the quiet part of Bellavista, next to Pablo Neruda's museum home and surrounded by the San Cristobal hill. The hotel itself is a museum / art gallery, with beautiful classy decoration and wonderful books to read. The rooms are spacious and elegant. The staff is so attentive and polite, always helpful and kind. My wife and I had a long stay in Santiago and I was worried about feeling a bit trapped due to the weather that cancelled all our day trips, but we felt like at home. Steps away there is a theatre with a good bar, half a block away a little plaza with a Mexican a Peruvian and a chilean restaurant in a quiet zone. We will be back

Room was excellent. Had a problem at checkout. Major language barrier

Terrible hospitality and freezing rooms—avoid! Do not stay here if you expect basic hospitality. From the moment I arrived, there was zero welcome or orientation. No one escorted me to my room or explained anything. I was left completely on my own to figure out how to turn on the lights, locate the single hidden electrical outlet, and guess if the wine in the room was actually complimentary or not. The room itself was freezing. The windows are way too thin for the cold weather, there are no heaters, and trying to use the AC as a heater did absolutely nothing. Housekeeping is basically non-existent. They will only show up if you specifically demand it at reception, and even then, they just half-make the bed and take out the trash. Breakfast was just as bad. There is a very short time window, and the staff member managing it just sat there like a scarecrow. He wasn't welcoming, didn't speak English, and didn't even bother to offer coffee or eggs. The buffet was sad, literally the only vegetable available was tomatoes. For what this hotel charges, you expect a premium boutique experience. This was anything but. Save your money and book somewhere else.

We loved the location. All of the staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Emilio at the front desk demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism, care, and attentiveness. He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We also want to thank the concierge team, especially Anna and Robert (or the gentleman with the longer hair—we unfortunately don’t remember his name). He was also very helpful and made a positive impression on us.
