Salzburger Sonnenterrasse Romantic Holidays

I expected a staffed boutique hotel, especially given its confusing layout. We arrived at 6:00 p.m. and found no staff present. The four pages of check-in instructions were entirely in German, and the entrance we were directed to use was not working. This made getting inside and locating our room unnecessarily difficult. I booked a studio suite so my daughter could sleep on the pull-out sofa, but no linens were provided. Since no staff were available to assist us, we had to take bedding from the main bed so she could use the sofa bed. The hotel felt more like self-service accommodation than the boutique-hotel experience we expected. The restaurant was closed, which was not indicated when we booked through Expedia, and breakfast was mediocre. Overall, the lack of assistance, missing bedding and poor communication made this a very disappointing stay.

Great hotel. We stayed in Fuschl to easily access the Salzkammergut area. The hotel has great amenities such as an arcade. It even has a piano you could play. Staff was friendly and helpful. Note Fuschl does not really have a lot of restaurants and the convenient store barely opens - so it simply wasn't a base for lunch/dinner for us. The hotel has dinner but we did not try. Also note there is no A/C. The night air was cool but we had to sleep with the balcony door open. Parking was confusing initially - there is a parking garage but it is not accessible on the day of arrival. We had to back out through a narrow alley.

I did not take advantage of the spa. Not my thing. However, the whole hotel is relaxing and rejuvenating! My room was so awesome. Me, a balcony overlooking the lake, a glass of wine and a book...that's my spa. The staff was so helpful...even booked me a reservation at a nearby restaurant because I missed the hotel restaurant times.

Great location and very friendly staff

Great location next to mirabell garden and palace and to the tours. Clean rooms and great spa and yoga room. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here

Vi var 6 personer på skiferie som bodde i denne flotte leiligheten! Meget flott leilighet som var godt utrustet og som har strålende beliggenhet i et rolig område. Dagligvarebutikk 100 meter fra leiligheten og noen restauranter i nærområde. Anbefales på det sterkeste!

Very clean property very basicl location great breakfast buffet loved staff Laundry bit of a walk rooms very clean loved the linens One front desk enployee VERY RUDE she was talking to someone with me. Standing there. The woman then left I stood at the desk 5 minutes or so to ask a question. She was at the computer the whole time and flatly. Ignored me. Until I asked the the question then she finally looked up. Happened twice Overall, a very nice hotel. Would highly recommended.

This was by far the most personalized stay we’ve ever had at a hotel. We were personally shown to the room and all amenities were explained. The amazing staff thought of every detail. We would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Salzburg!
