Isle Royale Pet-friendly Holidays

I am a frequent guest of Sunset, and although the hotel is dated, I enjoy the comfortability of the rooms, most of the time…. I wasn’t a fan of my bathroom due to the condition of the toilet seat and the windows were absolutely filthy. There was a concert on the property that evening, couldn’t see anything due to the conditions of the window. The elevators have been down for sometime now. Cosmetically doesn’t look attractive. It almost makes it hard to pay for the resort or amenity fee when the property looks this way.

Horrible checkin / checkout... Would never stay there again...Double charged me entire stay and still fighting to get someone to refund 2nd one that is so clearly a duplicate for same stay....

Room was very small. Dated with all red walls. Restaurants were very limited.

Rooms have beautifully traditional decor but have fine modern features like step-in showers and adequate air conditioning. Hotel is on a quiet, elegant, leafy residential street, but still convenient. It is in an early 1900's building that resembles a mansion but had been a US Embassy building. Most importantly, staff is especially knowledgeable and helpful.

Everything was great. The staff were great. Close to everything. Love it I will come back.
