Elephant Island Pet-friendly Holidays

Breakfast is decent - the plates were gross (dirty) - it is the same every morning with the exception of the fruit and cakes options changing. You cannot sit in the balcony area to eat, Staff was attentive and kind. Buses and metro pick up area is nearby. There is a pharmacy nearby and a mini market that is nearby. Worst part was the shower - it flooded and got worse with our long stay. Another issue was the AC / it never really felt cold in the room. Elevator felt unsafe - besides being tiny it lagged.

Horrible checkin / checkout... Would never stay there again...Double charged me entire stay and still fighting to get someone to refund 2nd one that is so clearly a duplicate for same stay....

Staff provided excellent service suggesting restaurants, attractions, etc. rooftop was beautiful. Breakfast was impressive as it was all inclusive. Rooms were very large considering it was in the heart of Rome and bathrooms were as well. The elevator was small, but it always worked!

You don’t get a card to enter your room anytime you want, you have to leave your key with reception every time you leave. You have to be a trusting person to be able to do that otherwise take any valuables with you if you can. Showers don’t have hot water. Free Breakfast and they gave me free water. Overall decent experience.

Paolo and Alvis were especially helpful at check in and check out. But every single person at the reception is fantastic, it’s 24 hours you hand in your key they take care of it until you’re back whenever you want to come. Housekeeping was great and the room was incredibly clean. The area is quiet: mostly student and residential and is a 10 min walk from the metro station Bologna which connects you to Roma Termini (central station) in case you want to do day trip away from Rome, the Colosseum and many more main attractions is on the same direct line. Lots of supermarkets and restaurants around, and good night time vibe. Recommend visiting the museum that is just down the street from the hotel. Breakfast was included and was simple and tasty, coffee drinks were amazing and the staff is so lovely in the morning. Overall, highly recommend this hotel!

This was our second time staying at this hotel and I’m happy to say that we will definitely come back again when we visit Rome. The location is perfect. You can walk to pretty much everything, which makes it very convenient for exploring Rome. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We had an issue on our first night because our Expedia reservation incorrectly showed only one guest instead of me, my wife, and our child. This made our check-in experience a little complicated and resulted in additional guest charges. The next day, we spoke with Samanta, and she completely changed our experience. She listened to our concerns, understood the Expedia booking issue, refunded the additional guest charges, and also moved us to a room that matched exactly the Superior Room we had booked and seen in the photos on Expedia. A big thank you to her for being so kind, professional, and helpful. She really took care of us and made sure everything was resolved. Good customer service makes a huge difference, and we really appreciated how she handled everything. We enjoyed the rest of our stay and are very happy we chose this hotel again. Great location, clean rooms, and excellent service. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Rome. Thank you again, Samanta!
