The hotel was right near the busy shopping street, which made it perfect for us. It’s walking distance from the Galata Tower and has lots of transportation options. Food options were plentiful and if you are in Istanbul for the night life it’s one of the places to be. I stayed Wednesday through to Friday, the first night was quiet no noise from the street. But Thursday heading to the weekend was very noisy sound like a birthday party was happening under our bedroom window until 3am, so bear that in mind if you wanted a quiet stay. Also I booked the breakfast included options and the view of the city was amazing from there. All in all I would book again but mid week though.

Great, fresh breakfast spread. Room was clean. Then only disappointing part was that we booked two rooms and the room with three beds for our kids was larger was bigger with a bigger en-suite than our room/washroom with the king bed. Having said that, location was amazing (central to all major attraction Kanin sultanahmet) and staff was extremely helpful.

The restaurant has a casual ‘Istanbul’ vibe. Great breakfast buffet.

The stuff we’re really nice, the hotel is from a close distance to everything, 2 minutes walk to the metro and 5 to taksim street. The rooms could’ve been slightly cleaner, we blocked the door with a towel to stop the smell of cigarets coming from the next room. But it’s okay if you’re there just to sleep not spending a lot of time at the hotel.

Lovely hotel in the heart of the old town (so the roads around are narrow and hilly - but so is most of Istanbul) The area is safe, bustling with local shops and literally a 10 minute walk from all the famous sights in the old town. That includes the ferries and cruise suppliers. The rooftoo restaurant has exactly the views you see in the hotels website...its beautiful having breakfast and evening meal up there. We used the spa and you can use all the amenities including pool, sauna, steam room and haman. Only the massage/turkish bath teatments are extra. We had a turkish massage/bath and it was devine. So much more reasonable than in the dedicated hamans. The room was spotless, the staff were brilliant and we also pre booked transfer through the hotel. Whilst there may be cheaper alternatives, the driver in was brilliant and wanted to show off his beautiful city and kept stopping for usbto take ohotos etc. It was like a mini private tour. Top tip...if you book the airport transfer...you need to pay in cash to the hotel. All in all this was a perfect hotel in a perfect location for us and would heartily recommend.

Great location. Murad is a great lad, he allowed us to check in early and helped us find a taxi for our transfer. I’d suggest Gritti Pera to work on their breakfast.
