We had a suite room with a pull out sofa. Just one small bathroom for the 3 of us to get ready. It was convenient to drive into town or to the Stanley hotel for the wedding. Beds were comfortable and so were the pillows. Air conditioner cycles and would wake me when it went off.

Overall we liked Cabin 1. It was a good size for our party of 4 and we appreciated the full kitchen. The beds were comfortable. We liked having a/c in each room. The views from the balcony were beautiful. The couch was thin and not very comfy. The other negatives were that we lost power in 1/2 the cabin the first night and therefore there was no a/c in one bedroom and no TV. It took until the next night for someone to come and restore power after 3 phone calls. Also, the pool was not open until the 3rd day we were there which was disappointing as we had an 8 year old and 12 year old with us and it was very warm. This was our first time staying at Nicky’s and I’m not sure we’d stay there again. There were definitely pros and cons but for the price we paid, it should have been better..

"The amenities were great. We enjoyed all of the water activities. The views from the room were fantastic. The only down side was they didn’t have enough staff to clean to rooms so towels, trash, coffee mugs etc weren’t replenished daily. This did not meet our expectations for a high end hotel resort. ..."
