Great stay with family

I have stayed at the Boffenigo before on business and was impressed so decided to use it as my home from home for a weeks holiday to Lake Garda. The Hotel is at the top of a hill with fabulous views over the lake and is fully equipped with a range of facilities (spa, indoor pool, small gym etc) and outdoor pursuits including mountain biking to keep you occupied - for those with a more relaxed approach the large garden contains a 50m pool, sun loungers and a well stocked and kept bar with which to while away the hours quietly baking in the sun. The staff are particularly helpful and cheerful and the management team have an eye for detail, ensuring that the guests want for nothing and that thier stay is as comfortable as possible.

I recently stayed at a hotel booked through your platform. While I really liked the location, I was disappointed with several aspects of the stay. The reception staff were a bit rude and unwelcoming, which affected the overall experience. Additionally, the room lacked basic amenities such as coffee and general facilities. The air conditioning was not operational, and we were told it would only start from June 1st—this important detail was not mentioned on your site. Overall, I found the hotel’s facilities to be outdated and overly commercial, which did not match the listing’s impression. I hope you can take this feedback into consideration for future listings. Property and facilities were of course stunning - we had a fab, relaxing time. The staff were v attentive, the quality of food and service exceptional. There were a few tiny things worth commenting: 1. You definitely need a car to get around and go for lunch or dinner in town. It's a shame the shuttle wasn't available in the evening so you could explore dinner in Gargnano. 2. Coffee at breakfast was actually low quality - please buy a better coffee machine. The hotel is too good not to serve decent coffee. 3. I think the price of food was too much - €7 for a cappuccino is arguably offensive. The quality is good definitely - but it feels 20% too much. 4. You need a food option that is a bit more relaxed. I don't need to have a fine dining experience every evening - I would like ie an option to buy a pizza for a more relaxed affair. First off, the North lake Garda area is spectacular and the view from the hotel balcony is unbelievable. The hotel is modern, but very friendly. Staff are exceptional and the hotel restaurant is very nice for dinner after an active day. I stayed here for a specific event, but will definitely be back to explore more of the area.
