A well run modern hotel, with a good quality restaurant.

My husband and I loved the hotel; super good location, next to a park where on Sunday we heard several musicians playing and even 3 tenors; very lucky, and was free. It is within walking distance; the breakfast is huge, lots of meat. I gave it back because Iam not a meat eater. The receptionist was super friendly and helped us find a car to rent super good deal. I would recommend it 100%.

Vatra Boiereasca is the perfect example for false advertising…..you are sold on the promise of a quiet relaxing stay in an old cabin only to be bate and switched upon a-rival with a common hotel room that has a broken couch which is completely incapable of offering a good sleep( it literally separated in the middle) and a shower door that falls off the rail and just about traps you inside…. it seems that regardless of how early in advance you book the place, ( we booked it over six months in advance.) you still get bumped if a larger group wants to come and rent out the cabins and they keep you up at night with their noise!! we did not use the spa they advertise bc you need to pay just to access it ( 250 lei pp and they have a min of two pol per visit( so $500 lei min which does not include any services)…I would not return and stay here again as it was a hudge disappointment The only bright side was they have an excellent chef that caters to whatever dietary restrictions you may have…..:)

The hotel may have small rooms the price is great compared to their competitors. The restaurant offers good food too.
