Our stay in The Joia met all of our expectations in terms of the food quality, the life shows and the room cleanest. The food and specially, the service of our waitress, in the Dominican restaurant on Thursday, was excellent. We loved our experience in the Tepanyaki with Johnson, and the grouper sashimi was super delicious. The food in the Galeón was sooo delicious, that we visited twice in the week. The roasted octopus was outstanding, and the short ribs was super delicious. The service provided in the lobby for the check-in and check-out personnel, was quick and full of professionalism. The only 2 things, that in my opinion, may be considered in order to provide a 100% is the bars options and the Members club offer. The bars doesn't have the same options of other hotels closed in the area and is very surprising that a Mojito or a Moscow Mule, that are very common drinks, the flavor is not even close to the original recipe. In terms of the Members Club, maybe you can put a check mark were the person mark since the first day if they are or not interested to participate in the presentation. And is very important to respect if the person say is not interested. We have a person chasing us for various day of our stay, we ended accepting the 90 minutes presentation. And unfortunately, we ended loosing 3 hours of our vacation, it is almost a halve day. I was there just to relax and enjoy my days off, not to spend half of my vacations day in a sales process.
