Beautiful hotel with great history! The location in Casco Viejo was perfect for our visit to Panama City and we were easily able to walk or order a car/Uber from there for various trips. We had a family suite, which was a king and full size bed room that worked well for our family of 3. The rooftop pool is small, but lovely and the restaurant near the pool was great with friendly staff. The Central Hotel is a gorgeous place and the staff at the front desk, door and restaurants were all nice and helpful.

This hotel is very old, no amenities and very noisy. Noise from street, pool filter and they have put refrigerator between beds next to your head. We ask the staff to give us the quite room, but she gave us a very noisy one. The breakfast was trible at 8 am they were out of eggs and coffee. When they bring some coffee and eggs after while coffee taste trible.

Everything was great.

This hotel is beautiful and very clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is very small and in a strange spot so not that enticing to use. The gym is very well equipped and spacious; but it was under construction partway through our visit which we did not know about ahead of time. The only issue I had with this hotel was the mattresses; they need to be replace. They are conceived and springs poke into you-it was very uncomfortable. But I cannot stress enough how wonderful the front desk staff were in helping me when I left my purse in an uber. They went above and beyond to help.
