Housekeeping is below par, no body soap was provided, face towels were not replenished after taking away, bath towels were of low quality and smaller than standard size. Also no complementary water is provided in the name of protection of environment (actually cheating the customers). We had to request for sleepers which should have been the standard in a 4-star facility. However Max from concierge was helful (though concierge overall was uninformed about tourist attractions) .

The staff was excellent, the room was excellent, great bed and linens. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the walking distance to highlights was clearly underestimated. One would have to be a “marathoner” to make it up to the Frontenac in 7 minutes! Even taking the Funicular took 15+ minutes. Quebec has very steep hills and cobble stone streets, very pretty but tough walking. That being said we still had a wonderful time
