(731 reviews) The room was beautiful and very spacious. The only thing is I found a dead bug in the bed on the first day. Also they were very strict in terms of guests. I was not able to even let my friend upstairs to grab something without paying an additional fee, mind you after I already paid $1000+ for the room. Also due to an issue with the expedia reservation that I made for THREE adults, on the hotels end it only showed a reservation for one. I was then forced to pay an additional fee to have my other guest on my trip to stay in the hotel. It felt like I was being scammed out of more money. Other than those hiccups, the staff was amazing and so accommodating. They were so kind and helpful. The free breakfast was amazing every morning and the restaurant on the 5th floor was 10/10\. I loved it! I just wish they were not so strict and money hungry. (488 reviews) The quality of service at Casa Lola was impeccable. The staff was always very professional and the room itself was promptly cleaned. The hotel itself was exactly like staying at an art gallery, very picturesque. Don’t get me started on the Restaurant, food and drinks were always first class. Breakfast every morning was a delight, with signature options from various cities in Columbia and American and European option as well. Every amenity outside of this hotel was within walking distance, so nothing ever seemed out of reach. I would recommend this hotel 10 times over for anyone looking for a memorable stay in Cartagena.
