Leinster Kid friendly Holidays

We walked in and fell in love with the room and the atmosphere of the hotel! The pool and sauna was lovely to relax in and the food from the restaurant in the hotel was amazing as well. We had an amazing time the few days we stayed there. And will book here again when back in Dublin!

We had a good experience with some difficulties. The good - the apartment was nicely decorated and spacious, with a kitchen and balcony, and good restaurants nearby. Also, there were tea and biscuits provided. We appreciated the 2 bedrooms, and the staff was friendly and prompt with communication via Expedia messages. The bad - The check in process was cumbersome, having to drive through the city to get the key. Also, we had no hot water the 1st night since we weren't aware there was a special process to turn it on. Also, the picture showed 2 beds in 1 room, and the setup when we got there was 1 bed, but we made do with the couch.

Good location even though it was quite hard to locate at first, some signage above the door would be useful as it was just a door with keypad on the side and took us a long time to local. Apartment was nice but run down in areas and could do with a bit of a refurb. Peeling paint and blackold in Bathroom. Also a struggle if you're not walking able as the stairs leading in are very steep and many 3 flights. No lift, we struggle getting suitcases up and down. Very noisy at nighttime on the street, more fans could be provided in warmer weather as we suffered with the heat so had to keep windows open which let the noise of the street in. Microwave or updated kitchen appliances would also improve the Appartment.

We travelled to Dublin for our friend’s wedding and stayed at St. Helen’s Hotel for two nights. The staff were so lovely and welcoming, and we were lucky enough to receive a room upgrade with an amazing view. The hotel itself was beautiful, but the outdoor garden wedding venue was absolutely stunning. It made such a beautiful setting for a wedding, and we would definitely recommend St. Helen’s for both a stay and as a wedding venue. We had a wonderful experience.

Incredible hotel, often missed since not as central as the other 5* hotels in Dublin but well worth considering. A special shout out for Derek on Concierge who helped arrange a special bouquet of flowers for the room. Great hotel guys - keep up the great work!

The rooms were clean, the service of the staff was exceptional, always willing to help with a smile, my only complaint was; no wash clothes (I believe it's aEU thing) no tea or coffee in room. But everything else was wonderful.
