West Wight Honeymoon Holidays

Dans l’ensemble, tout était parfait et nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Le seul petit bémol concerne l’arrivée avant 15 h : même si la chambre est déjà prête, des frais de 25 £ sont demandés pour pouvoir en prendre possession plus tôt. C’est un détail que nous avons trouvé vraiment décevant.

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. We have been to the IOW many times over the years, but this is our first time staying at the Albion, but it won't be our last! Would like to have dined at the hotel's restaurant - The Rock - one evening, but there was very little offered on the menu for vegans, so we went elsewhere. Having spoken to the restaurant manager about this, hopefully that will change soon. Likewise some issues with vegan options at breakfast - again we were assured this was changing. Breakfast location overlooking the bay with the sun coming up was lovely though. We had a suite overlooking the bay and it was spectacular watching the stormy sea raging and the waves crashing against the windows (August Bank Holiday weather)! The IOW is definitely our happy place and the Albion will be our 'go to' hotel for our future visits. :)

The room was gross multiple stains on the carpet. Dont book this. I had to leave my 7 night stay after 24 hours and book other accommodations. In this day and age cleanliness shouldn't be something I have to argue with the staff about.

Just a delightful and charming place, excellent staff and the food was amazing. A piece of heaven!

Whilst acknowledging that this is a 5-star “restaurant with rooms” and not a 5-star hotel, it is marketed as a high end accommodation but fell short. The quality of the in room coffee and hot chocolate wasn’t great (although very nice soaps in the bathroom!), and it wasn’t fun/a good start to the holiday to carry our pre-cruise suitcases through the restaurant and then up the stairs. The bed/bedding and the bathroom were nice but the remainder of the room was very curiously furnished. The times of availability for breakfast were very limited and we did not have it.

The hotel is located in an entertainment area. The made to order breakfast was great. We were 5 minutes from the cruise port. The room was very nice and clean. The staff were all very nice.
