Bugs and mosquitoes on the wall. Checked in at 1140 before midnight. Sent them a message and changed the room at 230 in the morning. We could not wake up to get breakfast and they called at 11 stating we must leave otherwise pay extra. We explained the whole situation. Anyway we left at 1110. I had other night booked in the hotel on the 24th that of course i cancelled

If I could give Villa Crespi 20 stars, I would! 🌟 We have stayed at many beautiful hotels, but Villa Crespi has completely redefined hospitality for us. We left feeling genuinely cared for—and perhaps a little spoiled for every hotel that comes after! From arrival, every detail was effortless. We were welcomed with cold water, the staff arranged our anniversary dinner, drove us there, escorted us inside to explain that we were their guests and mention my dietary restrictions, then returned to pick us up. The next morning, the staff surprised me with freshly prepared gluten-free breads, cream-filled croissants and chocolate torte. Knowing we had a boat trip planned, they created an extraordinary picnic for us: beautifully prepared sandwiches, snacks, chilled sparkling water, champagne on ice with glasses, fresh towels, and even tea-tree-infused refreshing towels for after swimming. They drove us to and from the boat as well. Our room was magnificent, with an extraordinary view, a comfortable bed and every amenity imaginable. Even our departure was thoughtful: cold waters waiting inside of the car, and we were given gifts from their kitchen to take home. This is what true 5 star hospitality means: not just luxury, but anticipating a guest’s needs before they ask. We were so moved by the warmth and thoughtfulness of the entire staff that that I left handwritten thank-you notes—something I have never done before. This was more than a hotel stay- it was an experience. 🌟

Lake access is key! Beautiful hotel all-around

Beautiful family run hotel perfectly located on the crystal clear Lago D’Orta. Clean spacious room and really helpful friendly staff. A restaurant and also a rooftop bar offer excellent food at reasonable prices.

The Castle is nice for the view but the stable rooms are the best

Beautiful hotel with fantastic gym, spa and pool areas. Staff are lovely and the food is great. Safe covered car park. We love it here!

The hotel is in a lovely location on Lake Orta, within close proximity to Orta San Giulio. However, the hotel itself is looking rather shabby and is in need of a makeover. The rooms are a good size, but the air conditioning is extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep with it switched on. Unfortunately, without the air conditioning, the rooms become uncomfortably hot. The hotel was reasonably clean. Cooked breakfast was disappointing, particularly the scrambled eggs, which were terrible. There was, however, a good selection of cold continental breakfast options, and the cappuccinos were excellent. We would probably not stay here again,
