This was such a neat experience! Breakfast being included was awesome. Great setup for a big group as there was a middle area to meet up. Views are spectacular. Only complaint was initially accessing the building. But once we were setup, it was great.

Great location, easily walkable to plenty of stores, restaurants, and attractions. The room was clean and decent in size, though a bit tight for two people traveling with four suitcases. The biggest downside was the bathroom design. The sink is ridiculously small, and the shelf mounted right above it makes it almost impossible to bend over to wash your face or brush your teeth. On top of that, the shower curtain didn't keep water contained at all, leaving the bathroom floor completely soaked after every shower. Overall, a convenient place to stay, but the bathroom layout definitely needs improvement.

Everything seemed to be in order for a typical stay. You're not really within walking distance of the main shopping districts and the view out the window was right over a traffic circle so you're getting noise all night. The place was clean and I liked that they had setup a full dining room table setup with plates. That was a nice touch. Checkout was at 10:00AM, not 11:00AM. Wasn't too much of a bother as we were planning to exit at 10:15AM anyway, but I thought we had that extra hour. Directions to the unit were confusing. They went to great lengths to provide a very detailed writeup of how to get into the unit with the door passcode. However, we did get confused, and used the pass code to get into the unit only to find out that they were using the same passcode for two different buildings. So we thought we were in the right building, opened the door to our unit, and there's some family sitting there looking at us. So then I called and they picked up and guided us to the correct building. Lastly, they say parking is always available. I'm not sure what they mean by that as it's not always available. I had to park quite a distance away.

Excellent location for access to the Golden Circle and the south shore of Iceland. Beautiful full kitchen. 15min drive to Selfoss for excellent dinning. This cottage was an excellent find.

The room was not clean. Specifically the bath room and tub had black something coming out of the drain and jets. Also they promoted rooftop hot tubs but neither of them were operational. Food was not that great in the restaurant. Overall we were not happy with our stay. We complained to management for some sort of compensation and they have ghosted us. Very poor experience. Would not recommend staying here.

We loved this retreat, it was the last leg of our trip and it was neat to be able to stay in a turf house. Everything there was made locally in Iceland you can tell the owners put a lot of thought in it and the private soak tub for each house was lovely. We got to see the northern lights the service was excellent and the house had a full kitchen and dining table to eat.
