Airport (USM) 9/10 Wonderful! (1,000 reviews) We spent 5 days here Beautiful gardens and lovely pool. We spent most of the time on the beach as there was a lovely breeze Really liked the gardens, Beach and the beach bar Thanks to Num and Oh in the Shine spa onsite for lovely massages. The Spa has a really nice vibe to it We didnt use the gym but it looked to be well maintained. The hotel front is on a busy road so it can get noisy at times if you have a room fronting on to it but the rooms themselves are comfortable and very clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly whether in front of house or in the beach club Food was lovely. Amazing choice at Breakfast buffet. A short beach walk to fishermans village if you want something different in the evening. The hotel fronts directly on to the lovely beach there is no road to cross to access. Airport (USM) 9.2/10 Wonderful! (617 reviews) Overall was an amazing stay. Staff are friendly and the property is well kept. Our ocean view pool villa was just what we wanted. Only 2 things that drop the rating to 4 stars instead of 5 1) wait time to get some items from housekeeping took almost 1hr (just 2 beach towels) - other services like calling a buggy or room service was very prompt and speedy 2) there was a wedding but the notification did not mention anything about loud music from the restaurant. (Only mentioned loud noise from a firework show at 1030pm - which was fine as we expected it) It went on for about 3 hrs. We could here all the music and lyrics clearly from our villa. We understand it is a wedding and a happy occassion but was not expecting the music (if any) to be that loud. If we knew we would have made arrangements to go out to town that night. It did ruin our night and was very unpleasant. We also could barely hear the TV with the music playing. We were about 3 or 4 villa ls away from the Star restaurant where the wedding was held Front office staff was nice and offered an apology meal but it doesnt amount to the 1 night value we lost to enjoy our night and villa.
