The pool was closed for maintenance. Bathroom door slides (barn door style) while looks nice it did not slide completely closed.

It is a fully self sufficient hotel renting apartments. The only complaint I had was the elevator is not up to moving full hotel guests at the crunch times ie 5-7 pm and 10 - 11 am - long waits as everyone wants to use the two elevators at the same time. Other than that I would suggest that guests try to rent the lower floors and use the stairs once their bags are in the room. Great location near the metro and downtown amenities- especially once their bags construction St Catherine’s is finished.

Nice Hotel , best location

Everyone on the staff was attentive and helpful while honoring my privacy. The room was quiet with a lot of nice touches to make me feel at home and meet my needs (e.g., umbrella in the closet). The breakfast service is especially elegant with a variety of choices for every palate. The hotel location is fantastic, very close to the McGill Metro Station and an easy walk to museums, restaurants and art centers.

Very very spacious suite. Unbelievably big bathroom area. A third floor skylight somewhat makes up for the fact that there’s no view out the windows. Although the building itself has aged gracefully, the newer amenities and appointments in the rooms keep you in today’s world.

Great location, but the room experience was disappointing. The location was probably the best part of my stay. It’s very convenient for exploring Montreal, and the lobby was also nice and gave a good first impression. Unfortunately, the room itself was disappointing. The shower setup was terrible and very uncomfortable to use — probably the worst hotel shower I’ve experienced. The room also didn’t feel particularly clean, some of the furniture felt cheap and unstable (especially the table), and I wasn’t a fan of the bedding, which also felt quite cheap. When I checked in, there were no towels in my room. Reception handled it fairly quickly when I contacted them, but there wasn’t really an apology or much concern about it, which made the customer service feel a bit lacking. The elevators were another annoyance, as the wait times were consistently long throughout my stay. Overall, the excellent location is the biggest positive, but the room quality, cleanliness, shower, elevators, and service could definitely be improved.
