Wonderfully restored historic building. Room was large and bed super comfy, would definitely stay there again.

The staff were excellent, the room was extra clean & the air conditioning were great. This was are 4th time to this resort.

This is my 2nd stay here and it will be my last. The hotel is not well maintained we paid for an upgrade to ocean front room it was a significant amount while the view was stunning the room was AWFUL -the lock on my door was poorly fastened to the point that I had to adjust it to lock it every time or my door would be open, i realized it after I left my room all day only to find it unsecured. -When I first arrived at 430pm the shower drain was dismantled I advised the front desk and the no one had addressed it by the 2nd day!! i had to go back and push for them to address it. When I expressed disappointment with luxury prices for subpar standards the only thing offered was a $50 resort credit. I would've preferred being refunded and moved to my original room. -my sheets clearly needed to be changed there was some dirt/markings and my bed was just remade with the SAME sheets. - toiletries aren't restocked not even the tissue box -my TV didn't work all week someone came to "fix it" it was not fixed I didn't even bother tu gu back it was pointless - the app is useless don't bother downloading - they have the most inefficient system for towels -private pool is dirty, iguana droppings everywhere - the guy who rakes the sand is SO rude. Never smiles makes it clear guests get in the way -the rest of the staff are mostly helpful but seen bothered to do so. Like the questions you ask are a nuisance VERY DISAPPOINTING STAY

The moment I walked into the Renaissance, the team handed me a cold bottle of water. After arriving on a hot, sunny day, that small gesture meant so much and the welcome only got better. Tahyka at reception was personable, warm, and genuinely hospitable. She noticed it was my birthday, and then Riangelo appeared with his amazing smile, personality, and a birthday plate! This dynamic duo also let me know I’d been upgraded to a Majesty room. Talk about a welcome. This was my first solo trip to Curaçao, and the location was perfect. I could walk along the water into Willemstad to see the floating Queen Emma Bridge, try restaurants, visit museums, shop for souvenirs, and enjoy the Kaya Kaya street party. There’s even a mall at the property, where I treated myself to a spa visit. My room looked like something out of a movie: beautiful, spotless, and wonderfully cool after a day in the sun. The property was always clean, room service was great, and the team accommodated my request for a late checkout. I’ve already told my friends and family about this place. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. The setting felt like a postcard, but the people made it feel like paradise. I’d stay here 10,000 times over. Bon bini!

We were there September 12 for 7 days. Our air conditioner didn’t work moved us to a second room was filled with bugs biting me. They came and sprayed the room twice did not get rid of the bugs. I had bites all over my body. The large pool was closed due to renovations, and the restaurant was closed due to renovations. They should’ve compensated something for the inconvenience. The selection of food at the restaurant is extremely limited. We basically ate hamburgers a week. The best thing about this place is the dive shop. If you’re not a diver DO NOT come here…there’s so many other beautiful places in Bonaire to stay. We were also traveling with another couple. Their air conditioner was not working properly for three days and it took maintenance that long to come take a look at it. It could not be fixed so they moved them to a new room which was very inconvenient packing and repacking again which my husband and I also had to do to change rooms due to the air conditioner.
