(67 reviews) What an amazing boutique hotel experience in beautiful Curaçao in the heart of Kura Hulanda Village. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, they went above and beyond for us. My partner had an accidental exposure to an allergen during our first breakfast and Miguel and his staff were incredible! They helped us easily navigate the experience and got us exactly what we needed from the local pharmacy-thankfully it was over in no time and did not effect our beautiful stay, except to reward us with the utmost in hospitality! The room was extremely clean, nicely fitted with great bedding,towels, and all the extras (shampoo, lotion etc). Kura Botanica is the best!!! (197 reviews) Staff was very friendly and always helpful. However, the villas only have Air Conditioning in the bedrooms. The rest of the villa is basically outside with only shutter type doors and walls letting the hot outside air blow through day and night. Also sound goes in and out as well. There is little privacy. Only one TV in the main room which means ALL OF YOUR NEIGHBORS will hear your TV too. I tried watching TV at 10 pm but neighbors called the management to complain about me! I had to slide the couch to within 5 feet of the TV so I could hear it and not disturb anyone outside my villa. Very frustrating! Then there's the ants. Everywhere. If you set down anything food related, ants will be in it within minutes. I had to store all food in the refrigerator to keep ants away. I will not stay here again. (39 reviews) Susan was very helpful at our arrival and with responding to questions throughout our trip. There's been recent construction on a beach club that has changed the view of the ocean from the advertising in the pictures. Less open ocean and rock and more palm trees, still pretty and tropical. Swimming in the ocean at this property was not something we did during our trip as the ocean was very choppy and turbulent from the weather. You absolutely need to rent a car if staying at this location if you want to go beyond Mambo beach. I would advise this property is best for adults rather than children unless you upgrade to the VIP balcony suites or the Villas. You have to communicate with them in advance that you will need twin beds instead of King size. The villas are at a different location. Make sure to carefully review the description of what is included in the room type you are reserving. The pictures are a mix of all the properties: standard room, balcony room and villa.
