North Pacific Coast Fishing Holidays

Great experience for our 21st annual girls trip! Clean rooms, attentive staff, beautiful views, wonderful pool and beach experiences, great air conditioning. Only complaint is a small one, the mattresses were VERY firm, too firm.

Our experience in Costa Rica at CC Beach Front Papagayo was absolutely amazing! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Special thanks to Melody and Gabriel, who took great care of us during dinner and always kept the drinks flowing with a smile. Five stars to the chef for the incredible variety of food offered every day — every bite was delicious! Overall, the entire hospitality staff that catered to us was awesome and made our trip truly unforgettable. While the hotel does not offer nightlife or entertainment, we visited Coco Beach, which is about 25 minutes away, where there were several great restaurants and live musical entertainment. I highly recommend checking it out!

Loved everything. Food was excellent, grounds fit for the name Eden and great service. The pool was better than the pictures.

I LOVED staying here and if I come back to Costa Rica, this would be where I would want to stay. Johnny at the front desk was absolutely magic. Any problem that we had, he had a solution for. We needed some sea sick medication but our tour got back late and everything was closed. I messaged him at the front desk using WhatsApp around 11PM and he went out and found us some! Another night, it was a night tour and by the time we got back, all the restaurants were closed. We asked him what we should do and he called in a pizza for us while we were on the tour, set the pizza on warmers for us, and then delivered it right to our room. He is excellent and definitely made the experience for us! We actually were upset to be leaving to another city in CR, and all of my friends joked about wanting to take Johnny with us. The beach access with the complimentary sunset drinks were amazing. They had chairs with umbrellas (thank goodness!) so we were able to sit while the sun was blazing. And then, the attendee there brought us cold towels. Amazing! The free breakfast was also amazing with the free option of a prepacked one if your tour leaves early. Honestly, it was some of the best food we’ve had in Tamarinda (a lot of the restaurants in town were a bust :( ) Overall, I absolutely would stay again.

The property, which is in a natural preserve, needs better upkeep. The rooms are dated and our bathroom had lots of mold, which is totally unacceptable. Also, the rooms are spread all around the property through trails and you go up and down the mountain to reach them. This, in the suffocating heat and humidity, is exhausting. There is no A/C anywhere in the property except the bedrooms. The restaurant is ok, but again: no A/C, limited options. The one shining pearl in all this was the SPA. I had a relaxing massage with Fanny, which was fantastic.
