They deserve all the stars in the world! Absolutely FANTASTIC staff!!! Everyone from the housekeeping to restaurant crew to the front desk folk were incredibly kind, next level helpful and genuine! Spacious room & bathroom, nice view, great water pressure, espresso in your room! We especially loved Dubo & Maria from the front desk. It felt like we were being hosted by friends who really cared ! They were beyond exceptional! Wonderful abundant breakfast! Vegan & vegetarian options, delicious espresso and even mimosas! Relaxing classy cigar room! Truley an elevated amazing experience! One of the best hotel stays we ever had! Thank you to everyone who works here! : )

Really loved our stay at the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful, the pools were not huge but lovely. We loved the smaller, upper pool. The rooms are spacious and very clean but a bit dated. The only issue is that the shower attachments in the bath are on a weird angle so you have to shower in a corner! The breakfast had loads of choices and gluten free options. We only ate at one of the restaurants once as we wanted to explore, it was great and fairly reasonably priced. We'd definitely be back.

Having stayed in many 5 star properties around the world, this is not a 5 star property. This lovely old building, in the heart of the Dubrovnik old town, is not well maintained. A lot of the decor is scruffy. The reception area is just a small room on entry. The air conditioning did not work properly. We had to move to a lower grade room (which had a free standing noisy AC unit) the first night while our room AC was fixed. The breakfast was not great. Apparently, the upper floor restaurant was closed due to lack of staff. You could not charge drinks to the room at the bar. The bar seating area in the evenings was always laid out for breakfast. It seems to be staffed by mainly young people (maybe they are students) with no management on site with the authority to make decisions.

Natasha was the most pleasant, wonderful, helpful hostess i have ever encountered. She is an asset and made the stay pleasant and remarkable. I will be back, hopefully.
