Although the other side of the River Shannon to the city it was only a short walk across the bridge. Unlike some other city hotels there not only was parking available under the hotel, but at the time we were there more than ample parking, albeit at a not insignificant cost. Our room was spacious, well decorated, well equipped, comfortable and quiet. The inclusive buffet breakfast was very good and we also had a meal one night in the hotel which was good too. A very smart hotel in a lovely city.

We had a very spacious room with a queen bed and sofa bed and a view of the river. The decor was very modern and everything was very clean including the bathroom.

From start to finish it was a wonderful stay at Leonardo Hotel Galway. The parking was convenient and reasonably priced. We were in walking distance of the Aran Islands Ferries, shopping and the pubs. The rooms we booked were comfortable and very clean. There was ample space. We enjoyed our breakfast buffet at the Leonardo. There were many choices and everything was fresh.

absolutely stunning property! the pool was out of this world! there was a slight issue with the AC, but the manager addressed it with me personally and gave me a discount! i was not expecting that and genuinely appreciated it!!! thank you Filip! i will definitely be back. they had excellent recommendations as well. i had the Dough Bros pizza in Galway based on Filips recommendation and it was amazing!!! above and beyond service here, well worth the price and such cool things to see including the Torc waterfall was literally 5 minute drive away.

Trump Hotel in Dooley was exceptional. The location was fabulous, the staff was wonderful, the property was exceptional. I would definitely go back.

Overall a good stay. Clean room. Nice staff. Kid friendly. We had requested a crib when we booked the room months ago. Then the day of, we arrived and there was no crib in the room. We called guest services and they said they wilk be bringing up shortly. We waited half hr and nothing so we left to explore the city. We returned 5 hours later and still no crib. We callled again and it took them about 20 minutes to bring the crib up. Not expecting that from a 5 star hotel. But everything else was fine. Breakfasts was good.

Fairly standard hotel, no real complaints. It's pretty big, and the soundproofing isn't great so we could hear people in the corridor and opening and closing doors to other rooms. Bathroom and shower were decent (shower in bath rather than separate), bed was large and comfy. The room had AC which wasn't the case for everywhere else we stayed on our Ireland trip. The car park was big enough so we didn't struggle to park. There were a few shops in walking distance, but I imagine most people would choose this location for it's proximity to Galway and the coast. We only spoke to a few members of staff and didn't eat at the restaurant, but they all seemed polite and friendly enough. We went to the bar one night and there was some live music which was nice, and there was a good selection of drinks at a probably average price compared with the surrounding area and Galway.
