Only stayed for one night but was really nice. Very clean and easy location

Quick check in, great location

Ideal for 1 night stay in city. Room was clean & simple. Close to shops,bars, restaurants. The train station, 10 mins walk & easy walk down to Quayside.

So so stay in hottest week of year. Room size good but design of room let it down. Restaurant not opened on Monday/Tuesday evening ( in a 4star hotel!) and bar in hotel disappointing. could not get room to a comfortable temp during whole stay, whatever we tried, and fan in room was completely useless.

Close to the station. Lovely staff, who appeared to be constantly problem solving a failing property. Things were broken, there was no air conditioning. Staff were as helpful as could be. Better value for money could have been got by walking a little further from the station

The hosts made me very welcome and the property is stunning! Situated in a beautiful location. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Would definitely like to stay there again.

Really impressed with our stay in one of the suites. Staff were very friendly and the location was excellent.

Stayed for one night while attending a wedding. We knew check in wasn't until 3pm, but thought we might be able to check in earlier. We arrived 1.45pm and asked about check in. Without even asking for my name or checking whether our room was ready, we were told "no, not until 3pm you'll have to come back." As we needed to be at the wedding by 3.45pm, we had some time to kill so we decided to order a pizza. We'd heard good things about the food and were looking forward to it. After at least 35 minutes, we noticed people who ordered after us had received their meals. When I asked where our pizza was, someone else checked and couldn't find our order. She then spoke to the staff member who served us, and said the order hadn't gone through and they would sort it asap. Unfortunately we couldn't wait, so we had to request a refund which was extremely disappointing and added unnecessary stress before the wedding. We did check in around 2.40pm after I noticed other people being allowed to. The room itself had everything we needed, My only criticism was that it was quite dark. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a good choice although the poached eggs tasted of vinegar. Overall, the poor customer service surrounding both the check-in and the lost food order made what should have been a straightforward overnight stay more stressful than it needed to be. While there were positives, the breakfast and the well-equipped room, the service let the experience down, and I left feeling disappointed.
