went for a pool tournament staff was OK. Ran into a few that were kind of abrupt with questions. Food choices were mediocre and very expensive in general. We tried to go to Sid‘s for a 999 basic breakfast special that ran from 7 AM to 9 AM. Got in line at 850 got taken to a table that hadn’t been wiped down Or prepared at 8:55 so we were standing there waiting for them to do that and then had to wait five minutes for a waitress to come over and take our order and we’re told it was 903 and they couldn’t put in the order for the special, so we wound up paying 2399 for the same meal as the special except coffee wasn’t even included in that one 🙄 so that was a little frustrating. The room was adequate. I wish they offered some non-smoking tables at the casino. if you can get the $50 meal credit pre-purchase that helped take some of the sting off the $18 bacon egg and cheese breakfast sandwich sandwiches from the to go coffee shop. If I’m back out there again, I would probably look for another option.

Room was clean. Very nice hotel with amenities. Had a projector in the room for the kids. Pool.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Platinum Hotel, and a huge part of what made it so memorable was the incredible kindness of the manager, Lindsay. I was in Las Vegas with my granddaughters for two BTS concerts and a visit to the Sphere. When we arrived, our original room wasn’t quite ready, so we went over to Tuscany for something to eat and came back later. What happened next was completely unexpected. Lindsay upgraded us, at no additional charge, to an incredible top-floor two-bedroom, two-bath suite with a huge kitchen, dining area and an enormous balcony. She told me she had been waiting for a nice family to give the suite to, and that she loved that a grandmother was bringing her granddaughters to Las Vegas for this special trip. But Lindsay’s kindness didn’t stop with the upgrade. When our travel plans became difficult, she offered us an additional night at the hotel at no charge so we wouldn’t have to worry. They even personally drove us to the airport. The Platinum is within walking distance of both the Las Vegas Strip and the Sphere, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The Platinum itself was comfortable, spacious and wonderfully located, but exceptional hospitality ultimately comes down to people. Lindsay went far beyond anything we could have expected, and she exemplifies what exceptional hospitality should look like. Thank you, Lindsay, and thank you to The Platinum Hotel for helping make our Las Vegas trip unforgettable and amazing!

We liked that the hotel was off the Vegas Strip. Its location was easy to access wherever we wanted to, such as the Sphere, Luxor, monorail, Hoover Dam & Valley of Fire. Morning breakfast had a good variety & hours were convenient. The only issue that we had was having our room cleaned. Not sure what the issue was..but it took 3 days. ( we didn’t have it done after our 1st night) but wanted it done, afterwards. The microwave is tricky..you need to hit the ‘unlock’ button before opening it…never saw that before. The front desk staff were friendly & gave my son their full attention, when he would share any stories. Thanks to Sharon, Dominque, Leanne, Dominque’s mom. They helped made our stay enjoyable.
