Beautiful hotel, really stylish and comfortable with impeccable vibes from the staff - they couldn't have been more helpful. The room was beautifully furnished with great views across the garden, and really tranquil despite it's closeness to Earls Court Rd. And fantastic cocktails in the bar - the honey drop was something else.

I’ve returned to this hotel many times. Each time I was impressed by the highest level of service. Wonderful staff, great room, Incomparably best location by the Thames. This is the hotel to stay in London!

I stayed here for one week as a solo traveller. I had booked a standard double, but, as an Expedia VIP, was given an upgrade after 2 nights, to a larger room overlooking Embankment gardens. This was really lovely and more room than I needed, but I had heard that some double standards either have a very depressing view or none at all. So, beware. The staff were lovely and helpful, with special thanks to Million who gave me an amazing tour of this historic property on the first day! The hotel is in an excellent location, 5 minutes to Embankment tube station and so many historic sights. The rooms, however, are tired, as many have noted. The lighting system in the room is ridiculously complicated, but the ac was superb during the recent heat wave. A lot of money needs to be invested to bring this property up to the standard of its 5 star neighbours. I probably would not stay here again, all said, despite the positives mentioned above. I would rather stay at a more modern hotel. I’ve had the experience, taken the photos, etc. I would recommend it to someone else, however. If a good rate and decent view are on offer. Great for those visiting London for the first time.

Excelente hotel, atención esmerada, cuidada, educada, con elegancia y educación

The people at the check-in are professional but quite cold whereas the men waiting in the lobby are very nice. Breakfast was excellent. Our room, number 19 in the basement was freezing cold, we just shut it off. Why is the A/C so cold ? It costs money, it is bad for the planet and I had a headache ?

Bon emplacement, hébergement très propre, étonnamment silencieux à notre étage (3e étage). Dommage qu'ils ne puissent pas mettre de ventilation, salle de bain restreinte. Personnel très courtois
