Great hotel in an excellent location, but could have been made much better for just a few simple things. The 'well being' facilities are less than impressive, the steam room didn't work, the lockers were faulty and no soap or shampoo in the showers. That leaves you with a very small pool and a dry sauna, which is just like being in a machine plant room on a hot day, perhaps with a better view! We didn't manage to find bar open at any point, and given the lovely location by the river, some outdoor seating would have made this perfect, however the door to the riverside is exit only.
Still, we really enjoyed our stay and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was just a shame that some really easy fixes could have made it 5*
