Great location, stunningly beautiful hotel!
The staff was amazing Charles at the front desk welcomed us and made everyone he came in contact with feel like a VIP not only at check in but every time we past by the desk checking on us making sure we were good. We read about lots of homeless people there is a few but definitely not a bother and the hotel it self is very secure always a front door person. The restaurant in the hotel is amazing Vidal the bartender was entertaining and always had great suggestions for dinner. It was a perfect stay

The rooms are spacious and quiet, We were on a higher floor. The staff were helpful and friendly. Despite some reviews about the area being on the border of the tenderloin we never felt unsafe. There would be no reason to go left out of the hotel which is towards the tenderloin district. Instead you would go right and its a few minute walk to union square. Convenient location to the cable car , transit and walkable to many main areas and attractions.
