Bermuda Cheap Holidays

The property is beautiful. we especially enjoyed swimming in the cathedral cave. Everyone was very friendly and we had a great time. There were two serious issues with the room. The grab bar in the shower was only attached on one end which I found out the hard way when I tried to grab it and it twisted in my hand. It surprised me but I didn't fall or anything. The second issue was the door lock only locked intermittently. We came back to the room after spending the day elsewhere and found the room unlocked! That was very unsettling. The maid had been there and I initially thought she had left it unlocked but after some trial and error I found that I had to unlock the door with my key card and close the door multiple times before it relocked. The last issue was on a breakfast tip. The meal only came to to $10 something and they included an automatic gratuity that brought the bill to $11.71. I like to leave at least a 20% tip so I added a 40 cent additional tip even though it was a self-serve breakfast. When I went to checkout, I found that my 40 cent tip had been changed to $40. Fortunately I caught it and they did correct it but it seems like a pretty unreasonable mistake. I didn't report the two maintenance issues at the time because I didn't want to interrupt my vacation waiting on repairmen.

Rooms were clean. Staff was excellent and knowledgeable. Breakfast and all food at the resort was excellent. The outdoor pool was nice but cold. The ocean and private beach was awesome! Plenty of lounge chairs for everyone and servers catered to everyone on the beach for drinks and food. Wonderful experience! We will definitely make this a regular place to visit. One down fall was the actual key locks on the doors. Not electronic at all. Smart tv in the room was very old and did not get all channels.

My husband and I had a phenomenal 3 night stay at the Hamilton Princess last week. The elegant hotel appointments and decor were gorgeous. We also loved the infinity pool. Our dining experience at the Intrepid Restaurant was wonderful! We had the bone marrow, Flight of Striploin Steaks with chimichurri sauce and the Sauteed Mushrooms, which we would highly recommend. Our amazing server, Olena, made the experience exceptional! She was warm, knowledgeable, super pleasant and very professional. We'd also like to give our compliments to the 1609 Restaurant, where we dined twice. I'm still dreaming about their Catch of the Day (wahoo) Ceviche. And a shout out to our server Shelley, who helped make our meal special. This was our first trip to Bermuda. It was extraordinary and when we return we look forward to staying there again.
