Ballyhoura Country All inclusive Holidays

The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the close proximity of great places to eat.

Great rooms and reception were great. Bar lively and food was good. Pool excellent. Slight let down with buffet breakfast that could have been made by the plate rather than drying in the bain marie..staff were really focussed on keeping the buffet topped up....but that meant we had to call for coffee after several minutes... having said that, would stay again if in area...almost 10/10!

Lovely old building with Latin Quarter literally on the doorstep. We had some reservations about noise and room size, having checked the usual review sites. But our room (overlooking Cross Street) had secondary glazing so the complimentary earplugs were not needed. The room was compact, but absolutely fine (my husband is 6'3" and he had no complaints), and was equipped with everything needed. It was thoughtfully laid out, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and attractively decorated. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast buffet was varied and more than sufficient to fuel us up for the day. There was a dear little book on each breakfast table, with a history of the building, which was a lovely touch. A few more plug sockets would be useful, but I guess our medieval ancestors didn't have so many devices to charge :) Would not hesitate to stay again.

The check in process was easy once I figured it out. Check in instructions were in a guest portal through shoreline, not through Expedia where i kept searching. Other than that it was perfect! Clean, cozy, comfy beds, great views and location!

Recently stayed there for 2 nights. The hotel is obviously going through a transition at the moment and nothing but hammering and drilling all day. We were on 4th floor and the noise from the road at night was excessive as the door to the balcony lets the noise in badly. When we arrived there was no sink stopper in the bathroom sink. I asked reception and they said the would sort it but the never do.Also very bad smell in the bathroom.Overall not the best experience.
