Our room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. The staff was very helpful with each special request we had. The price was a bit on the high side compared to what we have paid in the best, but it was definitely worth it. As someone who has made more that 25 lengthy visits to Korea (often for more than a year at a time), I would have to say that Mapo-gu is one of my favorite districts in Seoul.

The location was very close to the Main Street, shops, restaurants and public transport. Room was very clean. Breakfast is very simple.

Room was clean and all appliances were well maintained. The staffs were super friendly and very prompt upon any requests. Check-in and check-out were both very smooth and easy. Location is great as it is close to both subway line 2 and 3. My room also had a great view. You could see the N Seoul tower.

Overall, the staff were very kind, attentive, and genuinely willing to help. However, there were a few issues with the room that affected my stay. My bed was not made on one of the days, the shower overflowed on a couple of occasions, and the bidet worked inconsistently. While I appreciated the staff’s hospitality and efforts, the room maintenance and housekeeping could use some improvement.
