Great location, great A/C for France, comfortable beds. The casino on site was a nice addition to have an extra entertainment option at night, but it did not feel like a casino resort.
The pool has very specific, very strict only-in-France rules about attire and etiquette. If you don’t immediately know what I’m talking about, you should look into French spa requirements. It felt boarderline fascist at times and removed much of the fun and relaxation.

Super location, older character style properly right on the main square. Very helpful stuff. However rooms are dated and beds uncomfortable. We booked superior room which was very basic. I can only imagine what standard rooms are like. Toilet and bathroom are separate across the room which was not good having to go across to wash your hands after using toilet facility.
Breakfast was very basic and not worth the money. Plenty of eating places just outside so don’t bother paying for it.
Overall 4 out of 5 due to location and helpful staff.

"Colmar is lovely, along with its people. Check in was so easy, as was check out. Apartment was spacious and very clean. Nice residential area. The walk into Old Town was about 15 minutes. The hosts were helpful and communicative."
