The hotel looks lovely and is set in beautiful grounds but our stay could really have been better. The restaurant was unavailable the both nights we stayed there as it was booked for a private function. In addition, our room was not cleaned during our stay and the toiletries provided were rudimentary. Tea and coffee were not replenished either. I felt for the price paid, the property was not value for money.

Clean, quiet, well equipped kitchen, washer in the room I selected. Attentive staff, great breakfast, they even made me breakfast the night before an early departure. Walkable from train station, downtown location for shopping and dining. Along river for walks and or cycling excursions. Highly recommended.

Conveniently located in the heart of town. I had requested an accessible room. The bathroom facilities for this room were excellent. Large walk in shower with handle bars. Nice breakfast although it was like a maze to get to the breakfast area. The Amarillo restaurant is conveniently located in the hotel.
