Hon Tre Island Adults Only Holidays

The view from our room was amazing, loved it. This is a very busy hotel and a crowded, noisy entrance/reception. Being a high rise with 6 or so elevators they can be crowded and take a while with a lot of stops. There is a sailing club across the road on the beach that plays very loud music late into the night/morning which affected us as we were at the beachfront side of the hotel. The staff were great and when we talked to reception about the sailing club noise, they did give us an option to move rooms. There were not many Australians that we noticed at this hotel. The buffet breakfast was very good, lots of variety, although level 4 dining room was small and we only got a seat there once due to crowding and that was early, so we went to level 5 which was bigger. We loved the location of the hotel, right across from the beach but it was disappointing with the lack of beach beds and umbrellas the hotel has in relation to the amount of customers. The staff working at the beach were always helpful as were the room cleaning staff. Room was a good size, comfortable bed with a decent bathroom. Shops and restaurants all around.

A 5 star resort, pretty much everything you would expect. My only issue was sometimes they force you to spend. For example, we had extra food that we saved and refrigerated, but they wouldn't microwave it for us- We would need to order new food.

It’s a beautiful place but very inconvenient to get around especially staying at Villa. Our villa was so far from the beach. Our first night there was too much mosquitoes and bed was itchy until we asked them to change all bedding a few nights later. The villa was a very good size but not as well kept as I have liked. We got food poisoning from either the cups or the juices that we drink during breakfast buffet. Lots of their guests do not have food manners use hands instead of tongs.

Our stay at this resort room 2601 was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with outstanding hospitality and exceptional service. The resort is beautiful, very clean, and offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere that made our family vacation truly special. She took wonderful care of my family throughout our stay and made us feel genuinely valued and cared for. Her attention to detail and warm personality made a big difference and created a memorable experience for us. The entire staff was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Excelent facilities, service and food is top notch. The beach is also wonderful and clean. Will be back.

We spent five nights at L’Alya Ninh Van Bay as a family of four, and it was an incredible experience. The setting and privacy define this place. The resort sits in a quiet bay framed by mountains and open water, with so few villas that you rarely feel other guests around. That sense of space and calm is what makes it feel truly luxurious. On arrival, my wife actually started crying because she was so moved by how beautiful it was. The villas and grounds are immaculately maintained. Everything worked, nothing felt overlooked, and housekeeping serviced the room twice daily. Service was warm, attentive, and responsive. Our butler, An, was outstanding and made the stay seamless. Breakfast was excellent—fresh, varied, and well executed. A mix of Western and Vietnamese options, good fruit, strong coffee, and made-to-order items. It set the tone for the day. Food overall was very strong. The grouper grilled in banana leaf was a highlight (order in advance—they source it fresh for you). We also appreciated the personal engagement from the restaurant management team. A private sunset cruise on the catamaran—with canapés, bubbly, and a waterslide for the kids—was unforgettable. A true luxury experience defined by setting, privacy, and thoughtful execution. We’re very glad we chose to come here.
