You can tell the hotel is run down. The room was still hot with a poor AC. The breakfast was decent though. The shower leaked out onto the floor, the front door didn't close all the way, and the hall way floors to our room were very dirty and stinky! Not worth $500 and we've stayed at way nicer hotels than this one for less $.

Very friendly & helpful staff, amazing wellness area and superb food, both breakfast and dinner. The only downside is the sound insulation between the rooms. Overall a great stay!

Wow, why why why did I book only one night here? Everything was so good. All rooms - everything - is completely new, spacious, clean, and the owners are so nice! We arrived after a very long day and were worried we would not find a restaurant. We discovered that out of 3 restaurants in Neder - one, and a very good one i might say, is INSIDE the hotel! Elva has a restaurant as part of the premises. I ordered Wiener schnitzel, my son Goulash, was perfect. The red wine we were recommended was also very good. Rooms are very equipped, nice terrace to watch the view and chill, and everything is spotless. Also price was cheap IMO relative to value. We will be back next year!

The hostess is super friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. Best place to stay in Rattenberg.

Clean room, great food, excellent spa area and massage offers, comfortable ski bus shuttle. We had an outstanding experience here!

Terrible stay, Worst check in ever!! Rude staff (we saw only one in our stay), not customer oriented, NO internet access the half of the stay (with not a single explanation). They didn´t change the towels or the sheets in 8 nights... Every time someone came in to the building we heard a big noice from the entrance door... The management is really poor, they run the place like a cow farm not an hospitality business

A real life fairy tale castle! Winding stairs, pointy towers, huge doors, wooden beams - the works. Lovely restaurant at the bottom of the hill, overlooking a little lake, for evening meals. Just be aware there is no lift, so you will have to carry your bags up and down stairs. This is a stay in an authentic castle and was a fabulous experience.
