Nobody wants a run-of-the-mill wedding experience; for most people it's important that the events are as unique and special as they can be, from start to finish.
The bride-to-be's hen do should be no exception. To help get the party-goers thinking outside of the box, we've made a list of some non-traditional games to sink your teeth into!
Note: it's a good idea to have a bag of prizes to give out to the winners (and forfeits for the losers) to make things a bit more competitive. If you're looking for something truly different, package holidays to Malia offer the ultimate hen do experience!
Divide your group into small teams of two or more. With one person acting as the model, the other team members have three minutes on the clock to design and create a wedding dress using nothing but toilet paper. At the end, the models can take part in a little catwalk, allowing the bride-to-be to decide on the winning team!
This is a great game to play if the people at the hen party know each other well. Everyone must pick a person in the group and adopt their character in the ultimate acting challenge! You'll then take it in turns to sit in the 'hot seat'. The rest of the party take turns to ask the person in the hot seat anything they like, and they'll have to answer the questions to the best of their ability. To make things trickier, you may want to limit the responses to simple 'yes' or 'no' answers! The first person to ask the right question (i.e. "Are you Sonia?") wins the game.
Remember, you can ask whatever you like, so be prepared for some outrage and plenty of blushing!
Oh no she didn't!
This is another game that can cause some surprises within the group! First of all, everyone writes down a shocking fact about themselves on a piece of paper and puts it into a hat. This could be a surprising thing that you've done or just something people wouldn't necessarily guess about you. Read out each piece of paper, one by one, and take guesses at who the culprit is. The first person to guess right, wins!
Expect a little mess and lots of fun from this game! Players must dig out the hidden berries from a bowl of whipped cream. The first person to eat all of the berries is the winner! The catch? You can't use your hands...or anything else but your mouth, for that matter! Make sure you have a camera handy for this one!
Twerk it out
This one's a great way to get the rest of your party-goers moving! Tape an empty tissue box around each player's hips with the hole facing outwards, behind them. Fill each tissue box with ping pong balls. With the hen's favourite party song playing, players must then 'twerk it out'! The aim of the game is to be the first person to empty the box of balls. Get ready to shake what your momma gave you, ladies! If you're looking to twerk it out on the dance floor, Magalluf holidaysoffer the ultimate party experience.
It's clear that you don't have to stick to traditional hen do games in order to have lots of laughs! Which ones will you be trying first?
