Our room had a balcony providing a magnificent view of the Alps. We were within walking distance of the town, however, the hotel provided a free bus pass for each guest with the bus stop conveniently across the street. The room was exceptionally large for a European hotel, included a living room area as well as a spacious bathroom. The restaurant meals were delicious and service was outstanding from dining to the front desk.
Would enjoy staying again.
Typical European sized rooms but in Garmisch you don't go to stay inside. Right in the walking district with a wild game menu. Breakfast is included and dogs stay for 5euro a night. Helpful english speaking staff.

Very nice hotel in a beautiful little Bavarian town. great spot for day trips in the area. Staff is friendly and accommodating, the bar downstairs has a great atmosphere and is a fun place to sample the house beer and Bavarian dishes. The hotel is not overly fancy, but is clean, quiet and comfortable, with modern facilities. Would definitely book again if we return in the future.
We came to this hotel because we usually go there, because, the pricing is very good for what it is and the rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean. From our room, we had great views of the village, the mountains and the river. It is very conviniently close to the lifts, shopping and restaurants. The hotel dining room was very nice and the food good. But for people who enjoy spas, there is a nice sauna on the 1st floor. However, a few years ago an ugly doner kebap stand was built in to this beautiful, historic building. A problem is that the hotel only has 5 parking spaces and the hotel has 45 rooms(15 per floor). The pricing of the breakfast buffet which is not included with the room is over 10 euros per person per day.
