"It’s not your typical hotel experience. Jiangnan House is located in the heart of the Nantou Ancient City, so you experience this contrast of the new and old. "The apartment itself was new and modern. Very well fitted out but lacked some basics. Great kitchen with fridge dishwashers, etc but no plates, dishes or cutlery. There are no facilities nearby, you need a taxi or walk and use train. A lot of construction around you and tat is the view. It is not close to Shekou, ferry, etc as stated which are a 15 minute taxi ride. Beds have nice linen but are on the hard side."

"I was really impressed. Honestly, staying here it felt like staying at one of the premium hotels in Macau. Great sized room, super comfortable bed (the pillows could’ve been a little bit harder for my liking), large TV, with plenty of Eng channels (thank God!), Lovely bathroom, everything in very good condition, air-conditioning that was both silent, and powerful, a brilliant breakfast with great quality food selection, a very good gym, and a lovely swimming pool (that was absolutely freezing because it was winter so I didn’t use it), and in a good location. Around a 20 minute stroll to the beach, 10 out of 10! "
